After coming to a satisfactory result on my first attempt at non-metalic-metal I decided to use it on my Cryx minis. Unfortunately after spending hours on painting my prototype (right) I came to the conclusion that it looked too much like a toy and decided to go for another paintscheme which you can see on all other minis in my Cryx army.

Cryx Colourscheme After the Deathripper Prototype I decided to paint my jacks completely metal! Why completely metal? well, Necrotechs builds the Warjacks out of dead men/ animals and raw machinery/ metal by magically fusing them. I don’t think they care for painting them. The colour of the army is provided by the Scrap Thralls which have the colour of the enemy warjacks they were created from. So I decided to go the easy way and drybrush the lot! Iron Kingdom Warmachines After for a long time waiting for a new game after VOR The Maelstrom died, two new games suddenly arose. One is Dark Age and the other is IK Warmachine, which this section is dedicated to. The Background IK Warmachine takes place in a fantasy world where steam-powered machines called Steam Jacks are brought to life by magic.
