Described as “As new as dawn and as old as eternity”, the four Guardian Tors have existed as long as memory serves. They were hear long before the war of the Nyxarians and will remain long after the last folk are gone from the Skylathar.
The Tors, and their Tor Wardens, are tasked with protecting Skylathar’s very existance. They do not interfere in local politics, whether small as a squabble or large as a war.
Westtor “The Aeonspire Citadel”
This magnificent tower is located on the southern most coast of Lunessence, making it the west most Tor in all of Skylathar, and is home to the Tor Wardens The Wizards Zalthenna and Zaltar Evergaze.
Westtor is the only Tor with two wardens. The couple were both apprentices of the previous Tor Warden. Already married when they arrived, the old Tor Warden was not able to choose a successor on his dead bed so both were appointed as Tor Wardens of Westtor.

Southtor “The Beacon”
This immense and sturdy tower is located on the souther most coast on Skylathar, deep in Jotunland, home of the giants, the people created by the gods to fight the Nyxarians and who are now locked in an endless war with Vorthar the World Eater.
The Tor Warden of Southtor is the beautiful Cloud Giant Sorcerer Aurelia Nepheli, known for her love for the finer things in life.
Northtor “Eye of Vorthar”
The black tower of Northtor is located at the top of Skylathar in Drakenheim, the Tyranny of the Great Wyrm Vorthar the Worldeater.
It’s Tor Warden is the foul-looking man known only as “Eye of Vorthar” as if he was a fixture, a furniture, of the tower itself.
The Eye of Vorthar was once a tall man. For unknown reasons Vorthar transformed his face through painful magic removing all his features and replacing them with a large gap, a huge hole that covers all his face and is now the socket of one large magical eye, through which Vorthar sees through.
Easttor “The Tor Ruins”
The eastern most Tor is also located in Drakenheim and is the sad ruin of a magestic tower destroyed a long time ago.
The Tor Warden for Easttor is the ghost Livia Thorne also know as the Ghost of Easttor.
