Back around Warhammer 40.000 days, there was a chapel ruin that Games Workshop kept putting in their product shots.
M Neil over at Miniscape, decided to revive this legendary terrain piece and craft his own.
Inspired by his video, I decided to do the same! I specifically had the Sisters of Battle army and the Sisters of Sigmar Mordheim warband I am painting in mind.
However, as I started shaping the terrain, two player characters in our D&D group decided to get married, so I figured I could also use this as a Chapel for the wedding.
As I was crafting this Chapel, I remembered a marble terrain board I made in the past and decided to do the same with my Chapel.
I was aware my Chapel terrain was moving further and further away from the inspiration, but that’s fine, that’s how inspiration works and I am quite happy with the result.

Marble effect
For the marble effect I use this Marble Spray from Panduro.
However, since the black is too stark on mini scale terrain, I sponged watered down white paint on top.
