Stripping paint of miniatures

I'll just start with one advice: If you have something you knw strips off paint where you live, then don't expect the same thing to work if you move to another country!

More specific, if you live in Denmark and uses Methylated Spirits (DK: husholdningssprit) to strip paint off plastic miniatures then don't try to do the same if you move to England.

I tried it on a test mini, not only did it melt the plastci it didn't strip off the paint!

If you are in the UK I recommend this oven cleaner (see below). It has stripped paint off both metal and plastic successfully. It removed some glue but don't count it.
