This is my first painted Kingdom Death: Monster miniature. I am quite happy with the result.
It is also the first time I’ve used glazes both for shadow, for highlight and to mute contrast (inside the cape).
And first time painting skin on semi-nude female models. That was much more difficult than I thought.
It took me a long time to decide on a colour scheme. In the end I decided to paint him as a white knight and Googled around for white knight inspiration. I didn’t get anywhere, but then I remember that Jamie Lanister from Game of Thrones was wearing white and gold armour and I did find the photo I was looking for.
BUT I also found these much more interesting photos of him without armour and that light hide + purple became my chosen colourscheme.
