Finished the Squig Hoppers for my Night Goblin retro project. I think I like Cave Squigs better, but these are still fun. The Night Goblin army as it stands today.

Fanatics! Never leave home without them! I always liked the idea of Fanatics being dressed in bright yellow to alert other Goblins to their whirling presence. so when I got the chance to paint these little buggers again, I stuck to this concept. I really liked how they turned out, but still wanted them to […]
Skarsnik was my general back when I played Warhammer Fantasy Battle 4th edition, so it was super fun to get to paint him again. Below is my original one from the 90s. With this latest one, I opted to paint Gobbla yellow to stay with how I used yellow throughout as a contrast colour. Yes, […]
I can’t remember the last time I painted an actual full unit for a wargame. It must have been back when I played VOR The Maelstrom early 2000s. It has been super fun to paint these little gobos. They have so much character. It’s also been full to follow a set paint scheme, but try […]
This Night Goblin Shaman is the first in my Oldhammer project to paint a Night Goblin army using the original miniatures from Warhammer Fantasy Battle 4th Edition. He is my prototype for testing the painting scheme I have chosen, and I am quite happy with the results so having been batch painting the first unit […]
We are about to start a more light-hearted D&D Campaign centred around a bar called “Here Today. Gone Tomorrow” run by a retired Beholder named Bebbie. Each player has chosen a character who is working in the bar. One of these little fellas is the skittish Goblin Artificer / Busboy named Kasanov Kaboom. Kasanov Kaboom […]
First finished miniature of 2022 is an oldie, but a goodie: The only Goffik Rocker Ork I have left from back when I played Warhammer 40.000: Rogue Trader. The reason I decided to paint him up was not to expand my Bad Moon Warband, but because I needed a Half-Orc Bard for an Xmas 2021 […]
In 1987 I started playing roleplaying games and my brother and I also started painting miniatures around that time (being 13-14 and 9-10). you can see minis we painted here, but one Orc mini, I decided to paint only half of. The idea was to paint the other half when I got better. I forgot […]
I had actually planned for a Goblin King from Avatars of War to be the rider of this bear. However, it has taken an annoyingly long time for that mini to arrive (still hasn’t arrived), so in order to get ready for our first game in our new campaign Daisygate, I used a pretty cool […]
Last but not least, a sneaky Goblin Assassin! Don’t know what to use him for yet, but I bet he will be one nasty git!
I actually bought these goblins back when I bought their bow-armed cousins but never got around to paint them, which is a shame as i do love painting orcs and goblins.
More fantastic goblin minis from Knightmare Miniatures to add to my Goblins with bows, Goblins with hand weapons and Black Goblin Boss. Fun to paint these larger Goblins they have nice, retro feel equipment and feel to them.
