Dungeons & Dragons – Gaming board set 17 – Hellish Civilization

When I made my Gaming board set 13, it was meant for the violent wasteland of the 4th layer of hell: Phelegethos.

But as I have learned more about Phlegethos, and especially the capital Abriymoch, I’ve realised I have a need for terrain that feels more … constructed, more like an actual city, but in an unpleasant way.

So with that in mind, I’ve speed crafted some terrain that feels metalish, without being the classic rusty, Silent Hill-like metal. I found a spray that gives some odd metallic nuances depending on from where you look at the terrain and I’m kind happy with it.

It works both as an add-on to Gaming board set 13 (as shown below) but can also be used on it’s own.

I might still make a full on Hell Raiser/Silent Hill rusty terrain, but this will do for now.

Stored in a box similar to what it was made of

The terrain is basically a cheap plastic box broken to pieces.

I added some terrain texture paint to make it a bit crackely here and there, not sure the effect is as effective as I wanted it to be.
