The Mismatched Church
Nicole is shocked to hear her missing friend’s voice calling for help. She is sure that it was her voice crying ”Help… Nicky… I’m here… I don’t know…..”, but decides to keep it to herself.
Meanwhile, Seamus decides to keep on investigating the left side of the church, where he feels a bad energy coming from. The vibrations get stronger and now, when Nicky tells him that she heard her friend’s voice, there is something that Seamus starts to realize.
As Nicky checks the walls and windows, Seamus goes outside and is now that he notices that the inside and outside of Saint Kieran don’t match.
Unable to believe or understand, Seamus asks Father Colin to follow him in the courtyard, as Nicky and Father Martin decides to test the structure. Breaking a window and seeing that the distance between windows and walls don’t match, everyone realize that indeed the church is mismatched. The group grabs measuring tapes and go around the whole building to trace the planimetry. This discovery sends Father Colin a spiral of panic. The group explore the upstairs area of Saint Kieran, including the father’s room and office. Even the old tower, used in the old times to guard over the village.
The Tunnel
At this point Father Colin starts to lose lucidity: everything he believed in probably is not what it seemed and the church he takes care of might actually be the house of strange events that have nothing to do with God. When Seamus, thanks to his skill in enviromental awareness find the exact point in which the inside and outside stop matching, the sensation of uneasiness gets stronger.
With this knowledge, Seamus and Nicky grab two shovels from the gardening cabin and decide to start digging in that exact point. Father Martin and Father Colin, who is completely in panic now, go inside to call the people of Leighlinbridge to cancel the Game Night. Thanks to their good rolls, our protagonist manage to find a bricked up door under the church, surrounded by a wall. With some effort, they break down the door and are faced with a tunnel. In front of them is now and endless darkness, a pitch black tunnel that goes straight under the church, from where the feel coming not only Vanessa’s voice and malignant energies, but also a bitter and acid smell.
