When I saw these I had an immediate sneaky plan! Can’t wait to put it to play. Great simple miniatures. The Kitty Cats with their master

In our latest D&D game, and a year and a half into our current campaign, our Drow Rogue, Lady Alfein died, cut down by the Blue Dragon Electrax’ breath. Next game, however, sees the introduction of a new hero to take up the mantle: Miss Valkaria, a Tiefling Rouge. I do think Tieflings are one […]
When I started our D&D campaign last year, I didn’t expect Dragonborn to be a major element of the game, but that was before I found DarkSword Miniatures. Their Dragonkin are fantastic. Here is their latest Dragonkin Warrior with his pal, the Dragonman Warrior from Reaper. Both perfect as Dragonkin for D&D. Dragonborn to date
I have to be honest, I am a really big fan of Darksword Miniatures, but this Dragonkin Warrior is my least favourite of their Dragonkin minis. But I wanted a full set of their Dragonkin minis which I in general think are awesome. I ordered it. And the day after they revealed a new much […]
Normally I turn to Darksword Miniatures when I need really cool fantasy miniatures like these this Dragonkin or this Elven Ranger but they also make other, more quirky miniatures and this Easter Bunny was perfect for my Christmas 2018 D&D Oneshot (spoiler alert).
I am a big fan of Darksword Miniatures, but sometimes they are fiddly to glue together and paint so I wouldn’t recommend them to newbies or impatient hobbyists, but for me they re fantastic. This Elven Warlock is no different. Pleasure to paint and really happy with the final result, which sets him apart from […]
For my Dark Elves, I ended up with 3 miniatures from three amazing miniature producers: DarkSword Miniatures, Hasslefree Miniatures and Avatars of War. Similar to the High Elves, I wanted the Dark Elves to have some resemblance in outfit with our Dark Elf hero. Although I am happy with the result, I don’t feel these […]
I won’t deny it: I am a huge fan of DarkSword Miniatures. Thety are my first port of call every time I need Dungeons & Dragons miniatures. So far our game has been out in the wild, but the party is nearing the Elven Twin Omnitropolis: Lyrayara so soon we will be having some more […]
I am a big fan of Dark Sword Miniatures. However, this quirky Shambler is not the type of min I ussually expect from them. I think it is great! It is the first miniature in a long time I bought without having a clear purpose in mind, but since there seems to be a Feywild […]
I hadalready planned to make a Whihte Bag of Tricks magic item, when I received my first ever Darksword Miniatures order… wihch to my surprise contained one tfree miniature: A tiny Angel Baby. Perfect! As you have probably guessed, I’ve had a few other orders since then 🙂
A friend of mine who tried Dungeons & Dragons as a kid, decided to join my campaign “War of the Triplets”. As the only player he was toying with the idea of a chaotic evil Drow. In the end he settled for a Chaotic Neutral Drow… but he is playing it borderline Chaotic Evil, I’d […]
One of my friends is playing Dungeons & Dragons for the first time and when I first spoke to her about it, her first reaction was she wanted to be a big scruffy barbarian guy! However, after having done some research on her own she changed her mind to a Dragonborn Sorcerer, which was an […]
