I speedpainted a bunch of Cryx a few months back including the original of miniature of Asphyxious the Iron Lich.
But reading up on Liches on D&D, I realised they can cast “Mirror Image” creating 3 mirror images of themselves.
Now, I normally try to be economic with both terrain and miniatures, but sometimes the game calls for something unique. For example a while back I created a Beholder lair terrain said solely for a final boss fight of a campaign never to be used again.
So for this campaign, I decided to paint up the 3 mirror images of the Iron Lich, which was easy having used the speedpaint technique and the result looks good to me.
