By chance I found out about the Rising Sun board game and really like the oriental themed miniatures. I bought the game knowing I might never play it, but the minis I will find a way tyo use in D&D.
The first one I’ve finished is this impressive Oni of War. Fun to paint and i am happy with the result.
What I like about the chance to paint oriental inspired minis is that you can go much brighter on the colours and I fully intend to do so.
