I do think Skinks from Games Workshop Lizardmen range has potential as Kobolds so I got a few with a Razordon to add some punch to my existing Kobolds.

I wanted some skeletons to look more elite, more organised and more dangerous and I found this Egyptian skeleton regiment at Mantic Games. It comes with 20 skeletons, but the set comes with so many bits, so I only made 10 of them as I am not sure whether to make the last 10 more […]
I found these at Mantic Games when I was looking for Egyptian skeletons. They are great as constructs. The thing that surprised me when I received them was that they are actually made up of snakes. I couldn’t actually see that on the website. I think when there is something unusual as this, it does […]
I picked this up at Leisure Games. Honestly don’t know for what, but I thought it looked cool. Since then I bought some Enslaved Guardians from Mantic Games and the 4 together is a nice construct unit for Dungeons & dragons. With the Enslaved Guardians
I found this Efreet mini at Mantic Games while looking for Egyptian looking skeletons. Really like this mini, so I bought him as well. Great pose and attitude. I was in a bit of a hurry when I painted him, but I’m happy with the result. e.
When I bought the female Djinn at Brother Vinni’s, I also found this Arabic Fighter on a Flying carpet. Really cool miniature. Was fun to paint. I tried to give him a more middle eastern skin tone. It became a bit light ,but overall I’m happy with him.
The husky of Alarais, our party’s ranger, died in a recent battle against Eletractrax the Blue Dragon. Since the battle took place in the desert, I thought it would be fund for the new wolf to be a desert wolf so I painted up these two from Darksword Miniatures. Since i don’t know much about […]
A few month’s back I saw a youtube video on creating the Ultimate Dungeon Terrain (UDT) – the premise being: Creating terrain for your D&D game shouldn’t be daunting and all you need are a few pieces. Obviously the video is not aimed at craft maniacs like myself but i liked the idea in terms […]
Ok, so I bought this miniature last year simply because it is super cool!… and, I’ve never actually had a Beholder miniature (yes, I do have Bebbie the Bartender Beholder, and I do have a Death Tyrant, buuuut…) However, this is a very popular miniature and there are so many cool paint jobs of it […]
Back when I moved to London (summer of 1999) I was a Warhammer 40k player, but moving to London I learned about a bunch of other super interesting scifi tabletop wargames and ended up ditching WH40K (never took to 3rd edition, I prefered the more skirmish nature of 2nd and Rouge Trader). Anyway, having been […]
We decided to invite some friends over to try Kingdom Death: Monster and it so happened we would be 5 players so very (VERY) last minute, I glued two extra survivors together and speed painted them. They are nowhere near as cool as the original prologue survivor in neither paintjob nor miniature sculpt, but they […]
I don’t paint a lot of miniatures I don’t need for playing. And frankly, painting any of the KDM pinups is a daunting task because A) they are so well made and B) those who tend to paint them are pro or semi-pro painters… in fact I’ve only painted one before. I also struggle with […]
