As I finish what is possibly the last dragon miniature for 2024, I realise it is also the first Metallic Dragon I have ever painted and I decided to capture what it is up against in terms of the adversarial chromatic dragon.
Note I don’t have a Black Dragon in the collection. It is probably because I don’t like the pure evil nature of the the Black Dragons in Dungeons & Dragons. All the chromatics are evil by nature, but the Black Dragon revel in misery and torture in a way that is unpleasant for me as a DM to run with.
I’ve tried different camera settings to capture the group the best way possible, but haven’t quite nailed it so I am posting several.
