I am a big fan of the old Rogue Trader Orks. They have so much personality. But back when i played Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader, I didn’t have access to the fantastic Ogres and Ogryns from Citadel. So it has been a pleasure suddenly being able to paint not just this amazing Ogre by Jes Goodwin, but also an Ogryn in such a short span of time. Due to the size of this Ogre, I want to use it as a a Half-Ogre for Dungeons & Dragons. And as such i wanted him to have a bit more civilized looks…

Back when I played Warhammer 40.000 Rogue Trader in the 90s, I played Bad Moon Ork but always wanted an Ogryn mob. However, I could never find the miniatures in the local shops in Denmark (there were very few). I just bought this one, sc ulpted by Bob Olley, on ebay and it’s been super fun to paint him. My 8 year-old nephew, soon to be 9 year-old nephew (HEJ DANIEL) recently got some Tyranid Termagants, but ofcourse a bit disappointed they came unpainted.
