I am a big fan of the old Rogue Trader Orks. They have so much personality. But back when i played Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader, I didn’t have access to the fantastic Ogres and Ogryns from Citadel.
So it has been a pleasure suddenly being able to paint not just this amazing Ogre by Jes Goodwin, but also an Ogryn in such a short span of time.
Due to the size of this Ogre, I want to use it as a a Half-Ogre for Dungeons & Dragons. And as such i wanted him to have a bit more civilized looks and I decided to paint any cloth visible in a red colour to give the feel of him wearing a uniform. I am quite happy with the result.
