Dungeons & Dragons – Ettin (Meeplevault 3D printing)

All my giant miniatures have been gifts from my lovely wife.

I last Christmas she got me two more: An Ettin and a Cyclops from Meeplevault.

The Cyclops need to be assembled but the Ettin came as a single piece and what a piece indeed!

First of all, the print quality is amazing. Second, the miniature is amazing too. One of the things I really like is the heroic calm confident pose mixed with the intelligent and highly menacing look.

No, it doesn’t match the low intelligence of the by-the-book Ettin, but I think it allows for a lot of storytelling, which I already made use of in our last game.

One last thing, I am really happy with the paint job. I used a new technique of using makeup brushes for large drybrush areas rather than hobby brushes.
