I don’t think there are many miniature producers that can compete with Hasslefree Miniatures when it comes to female human miniatures and these two versions of their Katarina figure stays true to the quality. But while they are technically the same figure with the same pose, I wanted to paint them quite differently so I […]

We are about to start a more light-hearted D&D Campaign centred around a bar called “Here Today. Gone Tomorrow” run by a retired Beholder named Bebbie. Each player has chosen a character who is working in the bar. This is Penny Purplesparks, the fabulous Human Wizard / Bartender with her magical Pony (from Stonehaven Miniatures). […]
We are about to start a more light-hearted D&D Campaign centred around a bar called “Here Today. Gone Tomorrow” run by a retired Beholder named Bebbie. Each player has chosen a character who is working in the bar. This is the Human Fighter / Bouncer of the establishment.
I bought this on a whim back in London back in 2019. Fast forward to now in Copenhagen, I finally got a chance to paint her. I am not a fan of the Stormcast paint jobs. They look shiny and plastic and like toys. Doesn’t fit D&D where I think she would be good as […]
This Necromancer miniature is such a mad wizard! Instead of a vain wizard with top hat and fancy cape, this guy simply has no care for his appearance and knows that flesh is just clay for him to mold. Nothing more. Somehow it makes him look crazy, unpredictable and powerful! I tried the same technique […]
When I first saw this Genestealer Magus, I thought she would be a fantastic character for Dungeons & Dragons. But between me buying the miniature and painting her, I learned about Grim Dark and I decided to paint her Grim Dark style. While the result is not perfect, I really do like the look of […]
in our campaign Daisygate, we have the local cityguard called “The Daisy Guard“, who the party has run into several times. They are trained, but polite city guards maintaining the order of the town. They serve the town. However, I also needed a unit of Royal Guardians who are tasked with protecting the royals. These […]
This assassin is almost exclusively speedpainted with Games Workshop Contrast Paints. Really like the result.
ok… I didn’t play this entirely fair. I painted the woman in the bathtub without the blood and posted her on Twitter knowing some of my players would spot her. The truth is, she is the villain of the story who bathes in the blood of fairies, rather than an innocent bystander. Fun way to […]
I actually think I got this miniature as a gift from Darksword minis with a large order, but he is such a classical miniature, I just had to paint him! Really happy with the result too.
I think the George R.R. Martin line from Darksword Miniatures has some fantastic miniatures for cityfolk of all ranks including this mini of Tywin Lannister. In our current Dungeons & Dragons campaign “Daisygate” he plays the part of a retired general who now acts as advisor and bodyguard to the ruler of the town.
I bought an awesome Cthulhu-esque monolith, but obviously you can’t have that without cultists to worship it so I also got this gang of masked cultists. Cultists worshipping their icon
